At Escuela Ski Baqueira we offer ski lessons adapted for children between 4 and 17 years of age. Children will enjoy the benefits of playing in the snow and will enjoy their first descents on the ski slopes. Group lessons are designed according to the client’s desires, being able to book from 1 to 10 days of learning.
Lessons are divided by age in groups of maximum 6 students, so children can practice and have fun with other children their age.
From 4 to 6 years of age: The Marmots
Planned so children will enjoy most of the day in the open air. Our instructors are accustomed to working with small children by using games and systems so they will learn how to ski having fun.
From 7 to 9 years of age: The Squirrels
All the work of our ski instructors is focused towards safety and entertainment, taking advantage of the energy of the group. Children will start skiing, and the corageous ones, will ski down the slopes for the first time. Instructors focus their methodology on teaching in a fun way, using methods to improve their ski level and to teach the secrets of the mountain.
De 10 a 12 años: Los Jabalíes
With the experience of our instructors, we try to teach children how to appreciate the mountain and the environment. Their passion is passed on to the children and they enjoy their technique improvements while they develop their love for this sport. Children will gain:
- A solid comprehension of the safety surrounding the snow sports.
- They will explore the mountain: they will learn new techniques, different slopes and conditions suitable for their level.
- They will experiment in the Snow-Park.
From 13 to 15 years of age: The Bears
These lessons are based in developing ability. They include training in the Snow-Park, off-piste, potholes, carving technique or competition.
From 15 to 17 years of age
We teach young ones new techniques while they have fun. The young ones will make friends and enjoy the ski resort of Baqueira Beret.
